Do you repair screens onsite?
Since all screens are built differently, we have found it more effective to take the window screens to our shop so we have all the right size materials and correct tools. Turnover is very quick.
Is there a charge for pick up or delivery?
If you are within 10 miles of Golden, there is no trip charge to collect screens. Outside of that, a trip charge may be incurred. If we are at your place to clean windows or gutters and we can take your screens with us, there is no trip charge for returning repaired screens.
Can you repair broken frames?
We cannot “repair” broken screen frames; we will replace the frames so you have a clean and durable finished product.
Can you repair frames that are built with bents or arc frames in them?
For architectural screens with bends, we will need to order new frames if they are damaged. For rescreening, we will be reusing the existing frame, so there is nothing to worry about.
Can you replace metal screens?
Yes, we can reinstall new metal screen mesh if you have metal mesh screens.
Can you install pet screens?
Pet screens come with an extra charge as the material is more expensive, but we are happy to install pet screens for extra protection for your furry companions.
Can you repair security alarm screens?
We can replace mesh on security screens, but would need to send frames out for repair if frames are bent.
How much does screen repair cost?
The starting cost for rescreening is around $30; the larger the screen, the more cost is associated. For high volume jobs, we will pass along a discount. If you are getting our window cleaning and gutter cleaning services while we are there, you will get a discount on screen repair.
