We use a 3 step process; abrasion, pre-polish, and polish. The initial step involves removing an equal layer of glass down to the bottom of the damaged area. The pre-polish stage helps expand the work area, blending the first area into the remaining part of the glass. The final polish stage removes any imperfections left from the first 2 stages, leaving the glass clear and free of the original damage.

The process and products we use are designed to improve the appearance of glass without compromising its integrity. The process involves abrasion at a microscopic level, removing small amounts of the outer surface of the glass.

We typically estimate the full cost of replacement based on the size and type of window, access, and installation cost. From there we assess how much of the glass needs to be repaired and come up with a percentage; typically 25%-50% of the total cost to replace.

Yes. We are covered with a $2 million dollar insurance policy and all of our technicians carry workmans comp. We do not subcontract the work out, and do all glass restoration in house.

We will tape off all surrounding window frames to prevent damage and to help with cleanup. We also provide floor covering if need be during the glass restoration process. All safety measures will be taken to block off any foot traffic in the area.

Most glass restoration is done on-site since the window is already installed. In some cases, you will have the damaged glass removed, in which case we can repair it on-site or at our shop.
